Energetic Tone: Seeing Beyond Appearances

June feels like a month of gradual revelation that uncovers deeper truths. Many people may find themselves questioning assumptions, revisiting old conclusions, or realizing that situations they thought they understood carry a deeper layer than previously recognized.

The energy feels less focused on action and more focused on perception. There is a strong invitation to become curious about the stories we tell ourselves, the meanings we assign to our experiences, and the conclusions we have inherited from family, culture, past experiences, and past lives.

What appears on the surface does not tell the whole story.

Major Theme 1: Looking Beyond Appearances

A recurring message I have been hearing recently is: “Nothing is what you think. It certainly is not what you fear”

Situations may reveal additional layers. This focus this month helps to usher in a new way of understanding and relating to our experiences. It seems as if we have been building a new foundation this year, and it continues in June. 

Challenges carry hidden opportunities. Delays serve a larger purpose. Discomfort is often part of a process of growth rather than a sign that something is wrong. The old interpretations of our experiences are falling away. Even if these were valid in the past, the thing we must remember is that things work until they don’t. Levels of consciousness change, the planetary frequency changes. We are not trying to invalidate or make wrong any of these ways of understanding. Instead, we are understanding that there’s more. Truth doesn’t necessarily mean replacing what came before but reveals a larger context in which previous understandings can be held.  

The way I’ve been seeing this in session is that we are seeing more of the field. It often appears as an expansion of peripheral vision. Where we may have been able to see 180 degrees, now we can see 220. And so, from this expanded perspective, we understand that there’s more than what we thought. 

We aren’t dismissing what’s happening or sticking our heads in the sand- we are relaxing our ideas and suppositions about what the experiences mean so that we can be shown the threads of Truth that weave through experiences. 

Major Theme 2: Releasing the Need to Know

For many people, June may challenge the tendency to seek certainty. The mind naturally wants answers. It wants to understand where things are headed, why events are unfolding the way they are, and how everything will resolve.

This month may offer repeated opportunities to practice trust in the unfolding process.

Not every question requires an immediate answer. Not every path can be seen before we begin walking it.

Often, as we soften around the need to know- give ourselves permission to get comfortable with the idea of being uncomfortable, it relaxes our field enough for the Knowing to come in, at the appropriate time. When things are cloudy or uncertain, maybe it isn’t time to know. Maybe it isn’t time to act. 

As long as we are staying present in the moment in which we sit, we will know exactly what we need to know, when we need to know it. Instead of trying to figure things out, it is helpful to focus on: Am I in flow (aligned?) And if so, what is my one next positive step? It’s ok to be shown a tiny bit at a time. This is a great opportunity to expand our Faith and Trust in the Universe. 

Major Theme 3: The Stories We Have Inherited

Ancestral themes continue to feel active. Many people may notice old beliefs, family patterns, fears, expectations, or ways of relating rising to the surface.

This does not necessarily feel like a month of processing trauma. It feels more like becoming acutely aware of the stories and assumptions that have quietly shaped our experience.

Questions may arise such as:

• Is this belief actually mine?

• Does this interpretation still serve me?

• Is this fear current, or is it inherited? Is it mine?

• What remains true if I release this story?

Major Theme 4: Embodying Higher Frequencies

One theme that has appeared repeatedly in sessions is the realization that spiritual growth often doesn’t appear how we expect. Sometimes expansion feels spacious and joyful. Other times it feels uncomfortable. Sometimes old patterns surface before they release, and other times we’re releasing without being able to track what is moving. Often, life feels uncertain while deeper alignment is taking place.

Many people may be integrating higher frequencies of awareness, intuition, soul contact, and spiritual will into daily life. As more of these energies become available, they naturally begin to illuminate areas of the field that were previously hidden from view. This is one reason so many people are becoming aware of old assumptions, inherited stories, and subtle energetic patterns that may have gone unnoticed in the past.

As frequency increases, perception expands.

The way I have been seeing this in session is that it feels as though more of the field is becoming visible. It is similar to an expansion of peripheral vision. Where we may once have seen only a portion of the picture, we are now becoming aware of additional layers, threads, and relationships that were always present but previously outside our awareness.

This process often requires patience with the body, emotions, and personality as they adjust to holding more energy and a broader perspective.

Direct Knowing

One of the gifts emerging from this process is the development of Direct Knowing.

Direct Knowing is different from figuring things out. It arises naturally when we become quiet enough to receive it and does not require analysis, prediction, or mental effort.

This month may offer many opportunities to distinguish between the mind’s desire for certainty and the deeper knowing that emerges from the Soul.

Paradoxically, the more we release the need to know, the easier it becomes for true Knowing to arise.

Many people are being invited to trust the wisdom that arises from within rather than relying on external confirmation. This is less about having all the answers and more about learning to recognize the difference between fear, assumption, and direct perception.

Over time, this becomes less of an occasional experience and more of a stable way of relating to life. The development of Direct Knowing is one of the natural outcomes of Soul embodiment.

Ray Influences

Ray 2 – Love-Wisdom (Primary Influence)

Ray 2 appears to be the strongest influence this month.

This ray invites us to move beyond judgment and into understanding. Rather than rushing toward conclusions, Ray 2 encourages us to sit with what is unfolding and allow wisdom to emerge naturally through experience. Many of the insights available this month are not meant to be gathered intellectually. They are meant to be lived.

Its influence supports trust, compassion, patience, and the recognition that Truth is often larger than our immediate interpretations. Ray 2 reminds us that wisdom is rarely something we acquire. More often, it is something that reveals itself when we become willing to see more deeply.

Ray 4 – Harmony Through Conflict

Ray 4 feels especially active in the areas where friction is present.

Disagreements, challenges, emotional reactions, and points of tension may reveal places where greater harmony is trying to emerge.

The purpose of the friction is the clarity that arises because of it. When Ray 4 is in balance, the result is beauty and art. Life becomes a living tapestry of curiosity and wonder. 

Ray 1 – Will and Power

Ray 1 continues to support the dismantling of structures that are no longer aligned.

This may show up externally through changing circumstances or internally through the release of old identities, expectations, and attachments.

Ray 1 reminds us that endings and dissolutions often create space for something truer to emerge.

Ray 5 – Concrete Knowledge

Ray 5 supports discernment and clear seeing.

This influence helps separate fear from truth and assumption from direct knowing.

Rather than intellectual certainty, its highest expression is deeper perception.

Opportunities for June

• Seeing beyond immediate appearances

• Releasing inherited assumptions

• Strengthening trust in inner knowing

• Becoming more comfortable with uncertainty

• Allowing deeper truths to emerge naturally

• Recognizing where old stories no longer fit

• Integrating spiritual insights into daily life

Things to Pay Attention To

Mistaking discomfort for misalignment

Not every challenge is a sign that something is wrong. I often see that discomfort accompanies growth, release, or integration.

The urge to force clarity

The desire to know can become stronger when uncertainty is present. Notice when the mind is trying to create certainty before it is available.

Old stories resurfacing

If familiar fears, doubts, or patterns arise, approach them with curiosity. Rather than asking, "How do I get rid of this?"  Ask: "What is this showing me?"

Rushing the unfolding

June feels like a month that benefits from patience. There is wisdom in allowing events to reveal themselves in their own timing. 

Give yourself permission to take your time, to be in the unknown, and to allow the unfoldment. All of this supports the greater arc of trusting the perfection of Divine Unfoldment. Of releasing what we thought we knew, releasing the history, the identity, the story, and allowing the truth of what Is. As old stories soften and deeper truths emerge, we begin to recognize ourselves from a deeper vantage point of recognizing the eternal I Am.

P.S. As I was writing these notes, I found myself reflecting on several experiences unfolding in my own life. I've been spending time with teachings about the Essenes, revisiting old questions, and preparing for a trip to Virginia to spend time with my grandmother as she approaches her transition. My family has asked me to help hold space when the time comes, and I will also be bringing home many of her beloved houseplants.

What strikes me most is that none of these experiences mean what I might have thought they meant even a few years ago.

Again and again, I find myself being invited to look beyond appearances, beyond assumptions, and beyond the stories I might naturally tell myself about what is happening.

There is a deeper current moving beneath it all.

Perhaps that is one of the great invitations of this month: to trust that there is more unfolding than we can currently see, and to remain open to the wisdom that reveals itself when we soften our need to know.

This month's group session, Beyond Appearances, will explore these themes more deeply. Together we will work with the expansion of perception, the softening of old assumptions, and the strengthening of Direct Knowing. Through guided meditation, energetic transmission, subtle body work, and light language, we will create space for greater Soul awareness and trust in the deeper truths already present beneath our experiences.
